Mood Ring Returns: What I've been watching

Well, hey yall.
I just wanted to point out some shows i've been tuning into that might interest you.
First, starting with Episodes. It's on showtime...first season, only 7 episodes but it is Matt Leblanc's return to TV since Joey. The first episode might not interest you but it gets funnier as you watch. The writing is really good. I think it's hilarious. The acting is pretty good but the dialouge is what really makes it funny.

2. The Cape:
I only saw the first 2 or 3 episodes. A bit over dramatic and i don't necessarily like all the actors or the dialouge but something keeps me wanting to watch. I want to find the episodes i missed to see if it continues to pull interest.

3. East Bound & Down:
If you like vulgarity and douche bags then this is your show. Kenny powers is pretty funny and outrageous. He says everything we think but don't say. The writing and script is great. 2nd season finished in september of 2010. 3rd season should be coming.

4. Mr. Sunshine:
Matthew Perry's return to TV. Obviously i'm a BIG friends fan and like to see how their carrers are post-friends. The show is funny. Not hilarious. But somewhat intersting. Perry's role is a bit different from chandler but his sarcastic lonely self is back.

5. Californication:
Saving thebest for last. Californication is amazing. Painful. Funny. PHENEMONAL writing. I really enjoy it. I'm really into it. If you like writers, hollywood, family, and drama this show is for you (basically for everyone) i can't wait to catch up on the seasons soon. :)

Recommendation Part 9: Two and a Half Men

This show is hilarious. I know it is still on air BUT i'm not sure when it comes on. Another show that just came out that i WANT to see but HAVENT is "Men of a certain age" with Ray Romano -looks cool. Anyway, everynight at 11, when i can, i watch the show on channel 11. The chemistry between the three main protagonists works really well and i wish the show even more longevity than it has already displayed (All 6 seasons are on dvd, i own 3-6 :))

Anyway, if you aren't already on the show, change the channel and GET ON!

that's all. lol :)

P.S. I hope Charlie Sheen didn't choke his wife and that things get worked out.

Recommendation Part 8: Bored To Death

I just wanted to also recommend this show. I have yet to see Curb your enthusiam but most HBO are pretty hot. It's only 3/4 episodes in so everyone you have time to catch up. The main character's name is Jonathan and he's a writer... that should be enough to see it right? lol. He's also very short and an unlicesened dectitive. Just try it out...no harm in that. :)

right?

Kinda Dope

Hey yall,

i'm going to explain everything that's going on in another entry but right now i want to discuss this AMAZING, possibly once in a lifetime experience. AND it's called South Park lol. Right now i know your thinking to yourself like what the hell is this wanna-be rapper, philosopher, hardworking, lazy, blogger fucking talking about? I can watch South Park from my house and what can the show POSSIBLY teach anyone WELL apparently it can teach A LOT, matter fact A BUNCH. It's a Television Radio Class and my professor (Brian Dunphy) is an amazing teacher and man, well for what i know of him, obviously. He and his Mass Media class last year during my first ever semester in college was one of the few positive things in my life around the time and it kept me sane. Actually the first time he taught this "South Park Class" was last year and i sat in on many of the classes, just listening and observing, taking the experience all in.

I've never been a FAN or really took out the time to watch South Park but i just thought it was very innovative, a big chance on his part, still there has to be substance if it got approved, right?

If you said yes, than you are very much right. It's actually a lot of reading, a lot of open-minded thoughts so the narrow minded will never be able to comprehend something like this but it's awesome. The class actually makes me really nervous, i may be the ONLY sophmore in the class but i'm glad he has the confidence in me to believe and think i would do well in this type of free-thinking, free-flowing environment.

If you go online and type in my professor's name and the class you might find an interview or an article or two about last years class. But what i really wanted to show and discuss to you, was about THIS year's class. WE were already on TV, Brooklyn 12 and it's on youtube.

Please ignore the HOT woman before our part. I don't think you can see me cause i'm on the side of the camera that wasn't filming because class started early. fuck life. lol.

Itsallgoodevenwhenitaint!

Recommendation (TV edition): Hung

http://www.hbo.com/hung/

Hey yall, hope you liked my poem. I really enjoyed it. It was very liberating, actually extrememly liberating. I'm still feeling weird but that's for another entry. Here, i want to push you guys into watching (yet) ANOTHER HBO SHOW. Usually on Sunday's it goes: True Blood, Hung, and Entourage. So now that i've recommended True Blood and Entourage, it's time to put the icing on the cake for our tv lovers.

Hung is a term used for well-endowed men aka big penis men. Apparently i read in a magazine that most men don't have over an 8inch erect penis (only 3%) of the population has one (that includes larger too). I don't know i just thought i'd throw that random (kinda gay) fact in. Anyway, the sohow is about this guy who lost his kids, his house in ruins, he has an annoying neighbor, and ex wife married to some geek from their h.s. He also lives in a tent and works as a gym teacher at his old highschool were he was a praised baseball star who ALMOST went pro. After watching the first two epsisodes you'll be hooked and understand how he got the idea to become, well, a male jiggalo. It's pretty cool, intense, sexual, and funny.

So if you have HBO check it out. Take a stab at it. Life is (kinda) about taking chances, no? :)

Recommendation Part 3: TV Show

I'm recommending this show because apparently a lot of people i know love it. It's another HBO program. Entourage is also on it's 6th season and you can purchase the first 5 @ retail stores lol. i sound like a commericial. i never really saw the big hoopla in it until i started watching. The show is pretty good but i don't know, it's not same as true blood. That shit is addicting while this is more fun, realistic, down to earth, regular but better people drama. The concept is dope and Mark Walberg directs it. There's a lot of famous guest appearances. Just in the sixth season 50 Cent, Bow Wow, Tom Brady, and Mark Walberg (i know i'm spelling his name wrong but forgive me for being excessively lazy) himself.

So just check it out, it might be your next favorite show. Holla!
